Victorian Silver Acorn Charm with Inscription

A whimsical silver acorn charm - possibly a vinaigrette at some point with the inscription 'Fleas' in a stylised font. The top of the pendant has 5 holes which would have been a scent bottle or possibly a little shaker. The acorn cap is beautifully textured with such realistic detail.

'Fleas' could have been a beloved pet or a vivid memory tied to a particular moment. It's very charming, and for some reason I feel this piece holds a great deal of emotion and nostalgic attachment.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Patina has been preserved giving a lovely tone. Slight discolouring to the top near the bail and some light tarnish - please see photos for reference. Wear commensurate with age.
