Modernist Danish N E FROM Station Onyx Sterling Silver Paperclip Link Long Chain

£440.00

Vintage Modernist chain from Danish jeweller N. E. From. This is such a cool, long chain with fabulous high‑polished onyx beads stationed around the paper‑link sterling silver chain. A generous 32" length allows it to be worn long, layered against other pieces, or doubled for a higher neck look — versatile styling that suits day or evening. I love the versatility of this piece: the onyx balls add a little extra colour or a refined monochrome element, and the contrast between the gleaming beads and the matt silver links is striking yet beautifully balanced.

N. E. From was one of Denmark’s most celebrated Modernist jewellers from the 1950s–1970s, renowned for sculptural sterling silver designs of the mid‑20th century. His clean aesthetics and use of onyx set into bold, organic sterling silver forms made his pieces both popular in their day and highly collectible now.
