This Antique Victorian engraved  book chain necklace is a truly unique and stylish piece of jewellery with character and history. This is one of the prettiest I have come across!

The necklace sits beautifully on the collar area and really creates a striking look. The necklace has a bolt ring, possibly added later - a lovely feature that makes the necklace even more interesting and versatile. I love the fact that this necklace can be worn both ways, by turning it around and attaching a locket to the bolt ring you can effortlessly change the necklace into a whole new look.

Historically this necklace was gilded - a slight tone is still shown. I love the colour that has been left. 

The book chain's “book-shaped” links are delightfully unique and charmingly detailed. Weighing 81 g, the necklace makes a striking, confident statement when worn.

The silver curb link chain is beautifully crafted and has stunning engraving. This necklace is sophisticated but can also be styled for a more edgy look - I just love how bold this piece is.

Material: Silver (tested - no visible hallmark)

Measurements: 81g / 18" length / each link approx 2.5cm

Condition: Excellent antique condition; silver with attractive patina. Delicate ornate patterns; a few minor nicks and tiny age‑appropriate pits shown in photos. Overall a lovely and unique piece.
