Antique 9ct Gold Heart Padlock with Inscription - Post WW1 1918 Rare Piece

A fabulous post WW1 heart padlock with a charming inscription to the from and back. This beautiful 9ct gold lock reads ‘Phyllis’ to the front and 'Xmas 1918' to the back. The hallmarks are visible to the back too.

I get very attached to antique jewellery with memoirs - a post war 1918 one is such a rarity as the war ended just a month before. Such a beautiful piece.

A very nice, solid item with a lovely rosy patina that has developed over the years. It looks fabulous on a bracelet or as part of a stacked cluster of padlocks on your chain — either way this is a charming, meaningful piece full of sentimental character.
